“We have found it incredibly helpful and healing to connect with other bereaved parents in our grief journey. Our hope is to connect more families so that they may feel understood and supported, all while learning to parent the child who is no longer in their arms but will remain forever in their hearts.”
- Gillian, Founder of Hazel’s Heroes Society

Parents will find time to engage in a variety of self-care activities, reminding them to be gentle on themselves which is often a seemingly impossible task after losing a child.
honour
Opportunities will be given for parents to create meaningful ways to connect with their child and to continue the unbreakable bond between parent and child.
help
Grief is not something that is easily faced alone. Knowing that others are walking a similar path - and are surviving it - can give you strength and hope. At the retreat, parents can form lasting relationships that will carry them through their entire grief journey.
Hazel Rose
Our beautiful baby girl, Hazel Rose,
was born on May 29th, 2014 at 10:12am.
She was born with squishy cheeks, pouty lips,
bright blue eyes, and gorgeous red hair
that stopped everyone in their tracks.
We never knew a baby could be so perfect!
She made us the happiest parents in the world.
